DID PRESIDENT HASSAN SHEIKH COMMIT TREASON BY ENDORSING RAILA ODIGA WHO DECLARED HIS INTENTION OF DISMANTLING SOMALIA?
Various sources close to President Hassan Sheikh are reporting that Somalia is throwing its support behind Kenya’s Somaliland secession supporting candidate Mr. Raila Odinga for the African Union Commission (AUC) chairmanship. It is alleged the president’s endorsement came at the sidelines of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) summit in Beijing with President William Ruto of Kenya alongside candidate Raila Odinga.
On the sidelines of Beijing, Raila Odinga is also campaigning hard. On X he posted that “At the Beijing conference, President William Ruto and I seized the moment to engage with a dynamic array of African leaders. We presented our bold plans for AU reforms and my candidacy for AUC chairman.”

One of the African leaders that Mr. Odinga met and presented his “bold plans for the AU” and immediately received his endorsement is none other than President Hassan Sheikh of Somalia.
But what are Mr. Raila Odinga’s bold plans for Africa? Let us just take a look at his bold plan for Somalia. Meeting Somaliland leaders in Nairobi he tells them, “I know I will be accused of interference in internal affairs of the country, but this is an issue the African Union needs to address.”
Raila then goes for the jugular and describes in detail his intention of dismantling Somalia, and he adds, “The AU needs to wake up to reality that it isn’t going to be possible to bring these two countries together and [start to] recognize them as two separate countries.”

By endorsing Mr. Odinga for the Chairmanship of the AUC, President Hassan Sheikh for all intents and purposes has endorsed the dismantling of Somalia.
