If you thought President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is waging a political war only against Puntland, Galmudug and South West States of Somalia, think again. For all intents and purposes, President Hassan Sheikh is waging a war against all of Somalia, and the worst of wars is the one that displaces the poor and the weak. And the president is now displacing Mogadishu’s poor and defenseless.
The president’s latest war is now being waged in Mogadishu, Hodan district in particular. Land grab is the latest war Villa Somalia is waging as Hundreds of people are displaced and their land and homes sold to real estate developers associated with President Hassan Sheikh.
