MP Dr. Abdillahi Hashi Abib tells Daljir that during their training, the MPs will meet with the President of the International Court of Justice, the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, the International Court of Justice, the Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Justice of the Netherlands, as well as Dutch MPs. Because of pressure from Villa Somalia to try and prevent the MPs from gaining additional knowledge on constituency representation, MP Abib tells Daljir that the parliamentarians did not go through and seek permission from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Somalia, the House Committee or even the Secretariat of the House, as all are in agreement to not allow the parliamentarians to travel to the Netherlands to gain additional knowledge on what public representation means to the public and to the MPs.
