In Part II of THE GRIFTER PRESIDENT series, MP Dr. Abib exposes further details of extreme corruption at Somalia’s key ministers run by President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud’s closest and most trusted associates. The latest corruption details include the missing $21 million USD from the Treasury Single Account by the Minister of Finance; the $300 million grant by the Italian government to rebuild the Somali National University turned down by Minister Farah Abdikadir of the Ministry of Education because he is a co-owner of SIMAD University along with the President and they perceive the rebuilding of SNU as a threat to their business; and last but not least, corruption galore at the Central Bank of Somalia by the CBS Governor, who is paid $20,000 a month but still finds a way to triple or quadruple his pay, and then find a way to pay additional $360,000 of a World Bank-funded SCALE-UP project to his uncle and sister-in-law.
Stay tuned to more hair-raising and unheard of corruption at Villa Somalia.
