WHISTLEBLOWERS WITHIN VILLA SOMALIA PROVIDE SECRET TURKISH-SOMALIA SECURITY, BANKING, PETROLEUM & BUSINESS AGREEMENTS TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF SOMALIA MP

Federal Government of Somalia MP Abdullahi Hashi Abib, renown for his nationalism and fight against corruption and nepotism, in a public letter posted on his X stated that he has “obtained critical documents from whistleblowers within the Villa Somalia Office of the Economic Advisor to the President.”

He writes that “These documents include: Favori LLC Agreement, Defense Agreement – (Due to Security Concerns will not be Published), Ziraat Bank – Certified Memorandum and Articles of Association submitted to the Central Bank of Somalia (CBS), Fisheries Concessions, Petroleum Concessions.”

All these agreement between Villa Somalia and the Turkish government or Erdogan’s AKP party bosses or individuals affiliated with Erdogan’s AKP party were all signed in secrecy, and have bypassed all essential oversight mechanisms, parliamentary or otherwise. All these agreements, MP Abib alleges “have undermined the principle of accountability enshrined in Somali governance.”

In his public letter, MP Abib writes, “To ensure a thorough and impartial review, I am hiring Somali lawyers based in Mogadishu to analyze these documents comprehensively. Their findings will form the foundation of investigative reports, which I will publish – alongside the full text of these agreements – on my public platforms, including Twitter. This transparency is critical to fostering trust and empowering Somali citizens to demand accountability from their government.”

MP Abib alleges that his investigations into Turkish dealings with Somalia “has not been without challenges.” He continues, “I have received direct threats aimed at silencing me, but I refuse to be intimidated. The oath I swore and the values I hold dear compel me to continue this work. I owe it to the Somali people to shine a light on any attempts to compromise their sovereignty, resources, and future.”

In his public letter, MP Abib concludes, “Let this be a reminder that no one is above the law, and no agreement, policy, or action should ever be hidden from the people it affects. For the love of Somalia and its people, I will not stop until justice and accountability prevail.”
